Okay, so without sounding completely irrational, I think that John Krasinski and I are meant to be. Have we met? No. Are we likely to meet? No, but that is a real tragedy because we could really have something. Please let me explain just a few of the reasons why John and Summer are soul mates.
1. He is tall. 6'3" to be exact. Nothing makes my DeMilo knees weak like a tall man. I feel all fragile and demure but at the same time I want to mount them. Plus, I can wear my 3" heels freely. Thinking ahead, a girl does want to breed for height as tall people are more successful in life.
2. He is a self-proclaimed serial monogamist. This is great for me because as oft my blog describes, I am not good at the single on the prowl thing. I hate to break it to the world but I really am most comfortable being in a relationship. And it also is great because it means he isn't a man whore.
3. He's good looking but not too good looking. This is key because men who are too pretty are very dangerous. Will you ever measure up? And can you really trust them when women are constantly throwing themselves at them? Okay, being that John is a celebrity I am sure he can have his share of action but please see point 2.
4. He is smart. He went to an Ivy league school and got an honours degree in playwriting. This means that he'll be able to carry on a decent conversation and will likely share my love of Shakespeare. Also, whether the medium is play or blog, we both like to write.
5. He seems like a sweet guy. Okay, yes this could be an illusion as he is an actor after all and that is the persona of his main character, Jim, but it isn't like you read about him in the tabloids partying it up and driving under the influence. I've done google searches and I cannot find any evidence that anyone who has interviewed him dislikes him.
So, those are some of the reasons why I heart John Krasinski. There are more but a girl needs to keep some mystery; a sense of the unknown is sexy.
The problem is that, as stated initially, I am never going to get to meet John so that he can be made aware of how perfect I am for him. I doubt fan mail is how he meets women. But maybe, just maybe, one of you reading this blog will know someone who knows someone who knows someone who knows John and you'll be ever so kind to attempt to bring us together.
Please let John know that I am waiting.
